We believe we've done it again. Each year we endeavor to bring you the best golfing value in SE Michigan, and our improvements are pushing our course to a new level. We've taken a look at enhanced maintenance, bunker reconstruction, and additional drainage where needed. DAVID ELLIS SCHOLARSHIP GOLF CLASSIC AT NEW ROGELL
Yes, it happens later in the year, but we're excited to talk about the David L. Ellis Scholarship Classic. Every year it gets better and better as we raise money for college bound students. This year's event happens on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. We'll have fabulous prizes and a great day of golf for a great cause. Check out some past year's photos!
ROGELL / CLEARVIEW SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT HONORS AFRICAN-AMERICAN COURSE OWNERS IN MI & OH
It happened last year at the NEW ROGELL GOLF COURSE, and will raised money for students looking to enter the golf industry. The tourney is an historical event recognizing the only two African-American owned golf courses in Michigan and Ohio. The visionary visions of Mr. Wm. "Bill" Powell in Ohio (1946), and Bishop Charles H. Ellis III in Detroit (2007) have established a legacy. Proceeds from this tournament went to assisting African-American students majoring in Golf Course Mgmt.
